Day 330 - This, my friends, is the face of tired.
One thing I will not miss about touring when this is all over, is travel day. Another heinous one yesterday.
Sunday night: Pack, in bed at midnight.
Monday: up at 3:30am. At the airport by 5am. I was moved not once, but twice in the ticket line to supposedly help me out, yet I end up in the back both times and do not get my boarding pass until 6am. Total asshole working at the ticket counter. Security line crazy long. Get to gate, have time to pee before boarding, then hear we are delayed 30min. We board at 7am (our original takeoff time). We pull out from the gate and sit on the tarmac for another 30 min, then are told we are going to be delayed another 1 1/2 hours, so they are pulling back into the gate so we can get off the plane. We are finally in the air at 9:15am. We land in a rainy Atlanta around 12:30p. After getting some lunch, grocery shopping and doing laundry, it is dinner time and I still haven't taken a nap, and my head is pounding. Ugh. And I'm cranky because a bad headache means I can't work out.
I hate travel day.
Atlanta, GA. July 5, 2011.
Picking up my photo a day after a month hiatas. I was really tired and needing to focus on things like the baby. All the traveling back and forth to New York just burned me out and I wasn't feeling it on the creative front. Its also gotten harder for me to lug my camera around these days. I'm already weighing 15 lbs more than the heaviest I've ever weighed, so any extra weight on top of that is a killer.
I do really want to document this pregnancy though so I'm picking up again.
We're in Atlanta this week. I'm counting the days til the tour is over. Its been fun, but I gots things to do and get ready for at home. I want to start shopping for this baby!
It is nice to be back playing the Fox again, though. The last time I was here was in 2007 with Spamalot. And I love that our office has windows. So many of our offices throughout the tour have been in dark basements, its nice to see the sunshine, at least for this week.
